QUATUOR MOLINARI COMMISSION
QUATUOR MOLINARI 2013
RODRIGO VALDEZ HERMOSO has been commissioned by the QUATUOR MOLINARI for the creation of his third string quartet.
The work will be made during VALDEZ HERMOSO's stay in Montreal City as composer laureated by the CONSEIL DES ARTS ET DES LETTRES DU QUEBEC.
The String Quartet No.3 by RODRIGO VALDEZ HERMOSO will be named -RED over WHITE- as an hommage to lithuanian painter Mark Rothko.
This work is made possible by a bilateral agreement between the governments of Mexico and Quebec with the generous support of the CONSEIL DES ARTS ET DES LETTRES DU QUEBEC (CALQ) and the FONDO NACIONAL PARA LA CULTURA Y LAS ARTES (FONCA).
