UNIVERSITY OF THE ANDES CHOIR -LA MANSIÓN DE ARAUCAÍMA- (Homage to Álvaro Mutis)
On May 17 the UNIANDES CHOIR will give the world premiere of RODRIGO VALDEZ HERMOSO's -La Mansión de Araucaíma- (Homage to Álvaro Mutis).
The concert will be held at the -Auditorio Mario Laserna- in the city of Bogota, and will be repeated on May 19 at the -Teatro de Bogota-. The program will be integrated by music of Jesús Pinzon Correa (CO), Gilberto Mendes (BR), and Rodrigo Valdez Hermoso (MX). -La Mansión de Araucaíma- (Homage to Álvaro Mutis), was commissioned by the UNIANDES CHOIR with the generous support of IBERMÚSICAS and the Department of Music at the University of the Andes, UNIANDES. Bogotá - Colombia.
CORO DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE LOS ANDES -LA MANSIÓN DE ARAUCAÍMA- (Homenaje a Álvaro Mutis)
El próximo 17 de mayo, el Coro de la Universidad de los Andes realizará el estreno mundial de la obra -LA MANSIÓN DE ARAUCAÍMA- (Homenaje a Álvaro Mutis), del compositor RODRIGO VALDEZ HERMOSO.
El concierto se llevará a cabo a las 19:00 horas en el -Auditorio Mario Laserna- (UNIANDES), con repetición el 19 de mayo en el -Teatro de Bogotá- (UNIVERSIDAD CENTRAL)
El programa presentará obras de Jesús Pinzon Correa (CO), Gilberto Mendes (BR), y Rodrigo Valdez Hermoso (MX).
-LA MANSIÓN DE ARAUCAÍMA- (Homenaje a Álvaro Mutis), fue comisionada por el CORO UNIANDES, realizada con el generoso apoyo de IBERMÚSICAS, la Secretaría General Iberoamericana (SEGIB), y el Departamento de Música de la Universidad de los Andes (UNIANDES).
